Our Story

Wave Sushi was founded by Linda, a second-generation restaurant owner, and her husband Adam, who share a passion for fresh, flavorful sushi and a commitment to building a welcoming space that brings people together. Growing up in her mother’s restaurant, Linda learned that food has the power to connect and nourish. Inspired by her mother’s creativity and deep community ties, she and Adam set out to create a neighborhood sushi spot where everyone feels at home—from families sharing a meal to friends catching up or couples on a date.

With its laid-back, inviting atmosphere, Wave Sushi quickly became a local favorite in Chicago. Linda and Adam believe that dining is as much about the moments shared as it is about the food, and that’s the experience they bring to every guest who walks through their doors.
